Welcome to an Exciting New Year of Faith Formation at
St. Thomas More Catholic Church! Our first day of
class is September 13, 2010.

We need more catechists for this year. If you are interested in
becoming a Faith Formation catechist please contact our office
for more information.

The text books and shirts have arrived and will be distributed the first day of class. The cost for these items
are included in the registration fee.

We graciously accept school supplies donations such as crayons, pencils, paper, baby wipes, hand sanitizer, etc. Registrations for year 2010-2010 are closed as all classes are full for this year. We will have registration signup for next year in the month of May.

Hours of operation will be: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
from 2:00 pm. to 7:30 pm.

FAITH - FRIENDSHIP - MUSIC PERFORMANCES - SPORTS

Our STM Youth Group, “Generation JC”, did a great job serving at the
Sr. Glenda event. We ran a pizza and a burrito stand, helped out with drinks and other chores. We really enjoyed celebrating with the Hispanic community and listening to the wonderful music. Way to go, youth!
You really “represented”!

Our youth bible study starts this Wednesday night, September 8th, 7:30pm-8:15pm in Faith
Formation Room 5. We will be contrasting the media’s portrayal of love to God’s definition of love as found
in 1 Corinthians 13. See you there!

A training class will be held on Saturday morning, September 18th
in the main church from 9:00 am - 10:30 for any student interested
in becoming an altar server. The student must have made the
First Communion and be a member of Saint Thomas More parish.

The class includes Altar Servers for English, Spanish and Vietnamese Masses.
It is recommended that any servers currently serving 1½ years or less
attend this training.

October is Respect life Month. In Observance of 40 Days of Life, there will be daily praying from 7 am until 6 pm. Mon. through Sat. and 3 pm to 5 pm on Sunday, starting Sept. 22nd and ending Oct. 31 st. This will be done in front of the Presidential Women's Center in West Palm Beach.

There will be a Dinner Dance Gala with an 18 piece orchestra at the Marriot Regency Ballroom in West Palm Beach on October 2nd. The next day, Oct. 3rd we will have a Life Chain in front of St. Thomas More from 2 pm-3pm.
